Washington State Epidemiologist Reflects On Lessons Learned 1 Year Into The Pandemic

We are reflecting back on more than a year of living with COVID-19. The first case in the U.S. was reported in Washington state and weeks later, an outbreak there at a nursing home helped scientists learn more about the spread of the virus.

Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd talks more about the lessons learned with Dr. Scott Lindquist, the Washington state epidemiologist for communicable diseases and acting state health officer.
