Tyler Perry Productions Continue In Quarantine Bubbles; Quibi Debuts Remake Of 'The Fugitive'

Media mogul Tyler Perry seems to have found success shooting shows in a quarantine bubble. Cast and crew had to get regular COVID-19 screenings, but they haven’t had an outbreak yet.

Meanwhile, the mobile-only streaming service Quibi tried to attract new subscribers with a remake of “The Fugitive.”

NPR TV critic Eric Deggans evaluates the show and discusses whether Perry’s model could work for the rest of Hollywood.
