A Tragedy in Iowa Turned Political

Last July, Mollie Tibbetts, a 20-year-old college student from Iowa, disappeared after going for a run. When her body was found and authorities announced the suspect was in the country illegally, certain media and politicians began to use her death to make a case for stricter immigration laws just weeks from the midterm elections.
