Expertly blending folk, rock and Americana, the laid-back pop-rock group Mojave 3 has been making lovely, shimmering records for more than a decade now. The band's sound is continuously evolving, with the recent Puzzles Like You trafficking in infectious, melodic pop that sparkles as it soothes.
Mojave 3 used to be called Slowdive, but when the group decided to change its dreamy, ambient sound, it changed its name, too. It's since picked up additional members, and its leaders have taken time off to pursue solo work, but Mojave 3's music has only gotten more diverse and consistent with the passage of time.
