"I found [Dave Eggers'] prose to be difficult to read in long form, although his first book A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius was just that.
"In his latest, a collection of short stories, his stream of consciousness style of writing fit perfectly with a shorter form. 'Your Mother and I' is a particular favorite."
