Schumann Piano Quintet

Early critics called it "tormented" and "unmusical." But opinions have changed a bit since then -- it's now considered one of the greatest pieces of chamber music ever written. We'll hear a performance of Robert Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-flat, Op. 44. It's from a concert last month that was part of the Linton Chamber Music Series in Cincinnati. We'll hear violinists Alexander Kerr and Laurie Carney, along with violist Michael Strauss and cellist Eric Kim. The pianist is Lisa Leonard.
