It's music by Bach's oldest son, in a string trio arrangement by Mozart (K. 404a). We hear the Prelude and Fugue in F minor by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach (VIL-helm FREE-deh-mahn). The performance features one of today's top cellists, Carter Brey (BRAY), along with violist Nokuthula Ngwenyama (noh-koo-TOO-lah en-gwen-YAH-mah) and violinist Elina Vahala (AY-lee-nah VAH-hah-lah). It's music from a concert presented by the Gallery 701 Chamber Music Series in Columbia, South Carolina.
