Another Studio 4A guest shared a major life event with PT in 2002. Bassoonist Jane Taylor retired from the Dorian Wind Quintet after 40 years of performances with the ensemble she helped found in 1961. She gave her very last performance with the Quintet, at NPR. From that broadcast, we hear the very last piece. It started out as a piece for winds by Jacques Ibert, and ended as a rendition of Happy Trails to You.
