From Kallio Church in Helsinki, Finland, we hear seasonal music performed by a group called the Sixth Floor Orchestra. They play a short Quadrille from 18th century composer Thomas Bystrom. Then the orchestra moves on to a concerto by Handel. You may recognize the second movement. Handel re-purposed it in his "Messiah." We hear the Concerto a Due Cori. After that, we stop in at a concert in Denmark to hear the Danish National Girls' Choir perform two short pieces: "Baby Jesus Lay in a Manger," and "Let the Sweet Sound Reach the Sky."
