Today (December 16th) is Beethoven's presumed birthday. So PT has a few bits of unusual Beethoven news from the past year, as well as a performance of his Violin Concerto, with violinist Frank Peter Zimmerman, conductor Christoph Eschenbach and the North German Radio Symphony.
