Dvorak for strings

During an 11 day stretch in the spring of 1875, Antonin Dvorak wrote the Serenade for Strings in E major. It's the earliest of his compositions to hold a place in the standard repertoire. From a concert at Union College in Schenectady, New York, we'll hear a performance by the Budapest Strings. 28:35
