Screen Writers Strike

GUESTS: Jan Oxenburm TV Writer, Once&Again Program Member, Writers Guild of America James Bates Reporter, LA Times Peter Bart Editor-in-Chief of Variety Television and movie writers are planning to take to the picket lines next week. The Writer's Guild wants more compensation for secondary markets and residuals. The strike could possibly devastate the California economy which is already rattled by the energy shortage.
