Campaign Finance Debates

NPR's Peter Overby reports on the hard-fought progress of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill in the Senate. The bill's main challenger is Republican Chuck Hagel who proposes a cap on soft money -- instead of the McCain-Feingold plan to eliminate it entirely.
