Corruption in China

NPR's Rob Gifford reports that ordinary Chinese citizens have been taking to the Internet to publicize the names of government officials they say are involved in high-level corruption. Gifford visits Hunan province in Central China and talks to enraged citizens who demand that the government do something. More Chinese are taking these complaints to the courts, but without an independent legal system, many cases are routinely dismissed, and official reparations can take years to collect.
