With some Republicans indicating they could ask for recounts in states Gore won narrowly, state officials in Wisconsin and Iowa are warning about how long that could take. NPR's David Welna has been talking with state elections commissioners who say if ballots in Wisconsin and Iowa are recounted, the process could stretch into next month.
