Philadelphia, Mississippi

In the second of two stories, NPR's Debbie Elliott focuses on the town of Philadelphia, Mississippi, where three civil rights workers were murdered in 1964. Residents are divided as to whether the State should now hold a murder trial. Prosecutors hope a local jury will convict the Klansmen involved, but some people say a trial will just bring more negative publicity.
