Summer Olympics

Liane talks with NPR's Tom Goldman in Sydney as week two of Olympic competition begins. Track and field events will dominate this week. Americans Maurice Greene and Marion Jones have already won gold medals in the 100-meter dash. Jones will continue her quest for five gold medals. American Michael Johnson will defend his title in the 400-meter run. Soccer, softball, and Greco-Roman wrestling will also be featured this week.
