He is famous for becoming the first Iowan to climb Mount Everest. Now, Des Moines resident Charlie Wittmack is embarking on his greatest challenge ever- a 12,000 mile intercontinental triathlon that reaches the frigid waters of the English Channel to the snow-covered summit of Mount Everest.
