Michael and Rick Mast hired a sailboat to ship 20 metric tons of cocoa beans from the Dominican Republic to Brooklyn, NY.

Every year for Valentine's Day Americans spend over $1 billion on chocolate. Host Charity Nebbe speaks with some of Iowa's finest chocolatiers from Chocolaterie Stam, Chocolate Storybook, and Our Lady of the Mississippi Abbey.

The Masts say that homemade powder as opposed to syrup is the key to making chocolate milk.

Also chocolate makers Rick and Michael Mast discuss their pioneering recipes.  The Brooklyn-based brothers grew up in Iowa and recently published "Mast Brothers Chocolate: A Family Cookbook."

The brothers recommend this red wine bonbon recipe for Valentine's Day.
