Reynolds: Trump Comments "Unacceptable"

Republican Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds has added her voice to criticism of GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s latest controversial statements.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Trump viewed Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina on camera and remarked, “Look at that face.   Would anyone vote for that?”

Reynolds says that’s not acceptable.

“I don’t find it acceptable in politics,” Reynolds says.  “I don’t find it acceptable in business.  I don’t find it acceptable anywhere.”

Reynolds says she will support the Republican nominee when he or she is eventually chosen.  But Trump’s comments are unproductive.

“There’s nothing to be gained from that,” Reynolds says.  “I don't believe people want to hear it.  They want to hear what they're going to do, what are their solutions, what’s their vision.”

Reynolds says there’s a lot of time between now and the February 1st caucuses for voters to hear candidates' solutions to the nation’s problems.

Trump has made other derogatory comments about women in the past.    The billionaire businessman says he was talking about Fiorina’s persona, not her appearance.
