Iowa Public Radio’s Performance Iowa presents a 7 p.m. encore broadcast of the recital of soprano Jane Redding. Ms. Redding performed a fundraising recital with pianist Cara Chowning for the Des Moines Metro Opera during 2011. Enjoy her sparkling performance of three of the six Brentano Lieder by Richard Strauss, Six Melodies by Poulenc, Vilja from Lehar’s The Merry Widow, four parlor songs by Roger Quilter, a famous aria by Puccini, and several of Ms. Redding’s great American Song Book favorites.
