According to data from the National Human Trafficking Resource Center, there has been a steady increase in calls reporting human trafficking in Iowa.

During this River to River interview, Ben Kieffer talks with Ambassador Luis CdeBaca, native Iowan, who is of the most decorated federal prosecutors in the Justice Department. He has led the investigation and prosecution of cases involving money laundering, organized crime, alien smuggling, official misconduct, hate crimes and human trafficking. Then, Mayor Bill Gluba is trying to bring a handful of the undocumented children being held at the U.S./Mexico border to Daveport.
