The Koch brothers announced this week that they intend to spend $889 million in the 2016 presidential race, double the amount spent by the Republican National Committee in 2012.

On this politics day edition of River to River, guest host Emily Woodbury talks with political analysts Tim Hagle of the University of Iowa, and Steffen Schmidt of Iowa State University. They discuss campaign spending and Steve King’s Republican Freedom Summit that happened over the weekend in Des Moines.
