Horticulture Day: Gardening Apps

Nothing beats good old fashioned hard work when it comes to your yard and garden, but new technology can lend a hand. Today Host Charity Nebbe discusses gardening apps, such as leafsnapand vegetable garden calculatorsand planners, with Associate Professor of Horticulture Cyndi Haynes of Iowa State University.  These apps can guide a gardener through the season by helping to identify trees and flowers. ISU Extension Horticulturist Richard Jauron also joins the program.
