Event Description

This exhibition captures the daily life of a Union army soldier during the 1860s. All of the paintings were done by Corporal John Gaddis while he was based at Camp Randall, Wisconsin, and military campaigns in Kansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The exhibition is organized and circulated by Wisconsin Veterans Museum, State of Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, Madison.
